Julieta Barderi was born in Buenos Aires in 1982. She is a visual artist.
She holds a degree in Arts Teaching. In 2014, she was awarded the
Argentinian National Endowment for the Arts (FNA)-Haroldo Conti
Scholarship. In 2017 she participated in the Artists’ Program at
Torcuato Di Tella University and in the Young Art Biennial of Buenos
Aires in both 2013 and 2015 editions. She attended workshops with
artists Alejandra Seeber, Eduardo Stupía, Silvia Gurfein, and Tulio De
Sagastizábal.
In 2019 she was awarded the Oxenford Travel Grant, the FNA Creation
Grant, and the Kenneth Kemble Prize. In 2015 she won the 1st
purchase prize at the Federal Biennial from the Federal Investment
Council, the 2nd purchase prize at the Rafaela Biennial, and the 1st
purchase prize of the Cultural Entity of Tucumán. In 2014 she won the
3rd painting prize at National Salon SNAV, Palais de Glace (Buenos
Aires).
Her work is part of private as well as public collections in Argentina
such as those of Pettoruti Museum (La Plata); Timoteo Navarro
Museum (Tucumán), Federal Investment Council, Palais de Glace, and
FNA (Buenos Aires), Poggi Urban Museum (Rafaela), Banco de Córdoba
Collection (Córdoba).
Since 2013 she has exhibited her works on a regular basis both
individually and collectively at several art spaces such as Kirchner
Cultural Center, Klemm Foundation, Haroldo Conti Memory Center,
Recoleta Cultural Center, Selvanegra Gallery, Banco Provincia Museum,
Casa (M) Patria Grande
